In the present invention, the PCD-based multi-energy CT image correction apparatus and method selects at least one reference slice image among a plurality of slice images obtained from the PCD, and projected images for each of the images distinguishing hard tissue and soft tissue of the selected reference slice image. A correction equation for removing vertical artifacts is obtained from the image, and a transform projection image for the target slice image is obtained from the projection image of the hard tissue image and the soft tissue image of the target slice image using the obtained correction formula, and the obtained transform projection is obtained.
