Disclosed are two PTH analog ligands, SP-PTH-AAK and Aib-SP-PTH-AAK, that have long-acting activity at the PTH receptor, as demonstrated both in vitro and in vivo. These polypeptides are thus particularly useful in the treatment of diseases, such as hypoparathyroidism, in which long-acting activity is desired. The method of making the analog polypeptides is also disclosed.La presente invención se basa en el desarrollo de dos ligandos de análogo de PTH, SP-PTH-AAK y Aib-SP-PTH-AAK que tienen actividad de acción larga en el receptor de PTH, como se demuestra tanto in vitro e in vivo. Estos polipéptidos son por ende particularmente útiles en el tratamiento de enfermedades, tales como hipoparatiroidismo, en las cuales actividad de acción larga se desea.
