Several embodiments disclosed herein relate to compositions that target the liver and deliver antigens to which immune tolerance is desired to the liver, referred to as “glycotargeting therapeutics.” In several embodiments, the glycotargeting therapeutics comprise an antigen to which tolerance is desired, a liver targeting moiety, and a linker moiety between the two. In several embodiments, such glycotargeting therapeutics are used in the treatment of transplant rejection, autoimmune disease, food allergy, or immune response against a therapeutic agent.
