PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a general-purpose combine which can detect the presence or absence of a selection object on an oscillation selection body even though it is constituted to have low strength, reliably and discriminate clipping start or clipping end.SOLUTION: In a general-purpose combine, a fin drive motor (aperture change means) for changing the aperture of a fin 26a, and a first layer thickness sensor 45 (selection object detection means) for detecting the presence or absence of a selection object on an oscillation selection body 22 are provided.
