The present invention relates to a lamp shade with an insect repelling function capable of blocking an ultraviolet ray wavelength area where insects are able to detect, and prevents insects from gathering on a lamp indoors or outdoors. To achieve this purpose, the present invention provides a lamp shade installed in a variety of lamps, comprising: a case (100) detachably installed in a light source (11) of a lamp (10) which wraps around the light source (11)； a cover (300) which covers both sides of the case (100)； and an ultraviolet ray absorbing unit (200) formed on an internal surface or an external surface of the case (100) for a certain thickness of a layer with an ultraviolet ray-absorbing function which blocks an area of 320-400 nm of the ultraviolet ray wavelength area emitted from the light source of the lamp.본 발명은 전등의 커버인 전등갓에 벌레들이 감지할 수 있는 자외선 파장영역을 차단하는 기능을 부여하여 실내외의 전등에 벌레가 꼬이는 것을 방지하기 위한 벌레퇴치 기능을 갖는 전등갓에 관한 것이다.이와 같은 목적을 해결하기 위해 본 발명은； 각종 전등에 설치되는 전등갓으로서, 전등(10)의 광원(11)에 탈착 방식으로 설치되어 광원(11)을 감싸는 케이스(100)와； 상기 케이스(100)의 양 측방을 덮는 덮개(300)와； 상기 케이스(100)의 내면 또는 외면에 자외선 흡수기능의 층으로 임의 두께로 형성되되, 상기 전등(10)의 광원으로부터 발산되는 자외선 파장영역 중 320nm ~ 400nm 영역을 차단시키는 자외선 흡수부(200)를 포함하여 구성된다.
