The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating asthma containing maackiain as an active ingredient. The maackiain of the present invention can be used to advantage as a composition for preventing, treating and alleviating asthma because it has an outstanding effect in suppressing the production of ovalbumin and in particular IgE in serum and bronchoalveolar lavage fluid and in suppressing the expression of Th2 cytokines in the lungs, in addition to suppressing the volume of active oxygen created in the respiratory tract and suppressing the infiltration of inflammatory cells into the bronchi and relieving respiratory-tract hypersensitivity which constitute problems that cause asthma in in-vivo studies.La présente invention concerne une composition pharmaceutique contenant de la maackiaine comme principe actif destinée à prévenir ou à traiter l'asthme. La maackiaine de la présente invention peut être utilisée de manière avantageuse sous la forme d'une composition destinée à prévenir, traiter et soulager l'asthme, car elle présente un effet remarquable pour supprimer la production d'ovalbumine, et en particulier d'IgE, dans le sérum et le fluide de lavage bronchoalvéolaire, et pour supprimer l'expression des cytokines Th2 dans les poumons, en plus de supprimer le volume d'oxygène actif dans les voies respiratoires et de supprimer l'infiltration de cellules inflammatoires à l'intérieur des bronches tout en réduisant l'hypersensibilité des voies respiratoires, responsable des problèmes à l'origine de l'asthme dans les études in vivo.본 발명은 마키아인을 유효성분으로 함유하는 천식 예방 또는 치료용 약학적 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 마키아인은 생체내실험(in vivo)에서 천식 발생 의 원인으로 문제가 되는 기도과민성을 경감시키고, 기도 내 활성 산소 발생량을 억제시키며, 기관지 내 염증세포 침윤을 억제할 뿐만 아니라, 혈청과 기관지 폐포 세척액 내의 난 알부민, 특히 IgE 생성을 억제하고, 폐에서 Th2 사이토카인의 발현 을 억제하는 효과가 우수하므로 천식 예방, 치료 및 개선용 조성물로 유용하게 사 용될 수 있다.
