PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a carbon nanotube (CNT) thin film in which CNT is uniformly dispersed.SOLUTION: The instrument for cell culture having the CNT film on the surface of a substrate is obtained through the production processes of: preparing a solution including a dissolved CNT by blending CNT, a water-soluble solubilizing agent for solubilizing CNT such as a water-soluble xylan, and a water-based solvent feeding by dropping or the like, the solution including dissolved CNT on the surface of the substrate for cell culture such as a sheet glass to form a liquid layer on the substrate evaporating the water-based solvent in such a state as leaving the liquid layer to precipitate CNT in the solution on the substrate surface, thereby depositing the CNT on the surface of the substrate and rinsing off the surface of the substrate.
