A : CH 3-(CH 2) 5-CH(OH)-CH 2-CH=CH-(CH 2) 7-COOH or optionally hydroxy stearic acid CH 3-(CH 2) 5-CH(OH)-(CH 2) 10-COOH； and n : 1-10. Independent claims are also included for: (1) the preparation of the polyglycerin partial ester； (2) a cosmetic, dermatological or pharmaceutical preparation comprising the polyglycerin partial ester and optionally conventional auxiliary materials and additives； and (3) a caring agent and cleaning agent for household and industrial application comprising the polyglycerin partial ester and optionally conventional auxiliary materials and additives.
