A medical valve (100) for use in administration of fluids, such as drug fluids, comprises a housing(200), and a valve member(300)which is rotatably supported in the housing for rotation between a plurality of valve positions about a rotational axis(10). The housing(200)is provided with an indicator means(500) and the rotatable valve member (300) is provided with an optical element(400)which is arranged to rotate together with the valve member(300)and which is arranged to reflect images of said indicator means(500)in said plurality of valve positions, each reflected image being visible to a user and being associated with a corresponding valve position.
