It is provided a casing of a capsule endoscope, a capsule endoscope kit, and an assembly method of and device for assembling the capsule endoscope kit capable of stably holding a capsule endoscope in a state where the function of imaging a subject is appropriately maintained. An inner casing 142 according to the present invention includes a hole 142e which is a holding portion that is provided at the center of a base portion 142f having a planar shape so as to protrude in a direction orthogonal to a principal surface of the base portion 142f and hold a capsule endoscope 2 and a plurality of step portions each protruding from a side surface of the hole 142e and abutting on an area of an outer surface of a hemispheric dome portion 11a, which is located inside an optical viewing angle of the capsule endoscope 2 and which does not contribute to generation of an image captured by the capsule endoscope 2 to realize alignment in a longitudinal direction of the capsule endoscope 2.
