PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mist generator capable of efficiently discharging mist while making a motor watertight.SOLUTION: A case 180 is configured to be a double cylinder with a cylindrical inner case 182 and a cylindrical outer case 181. The outer case 181 is a hollow cylinder with both ends open and has an injection port 43 at one open end and an air intake port 41 at the other open end. The inner case 182 is provided with a motor 4. Communication holes 37 and 40 are arranged between the inner case 182 and the outer case 181. The motor 4 has a fan 46 and a rotary substrate 70. Mist generated by the rotary substrate 70 is discharged through the injection port 43 with an air flow generated by the fan 46. The motor 4 is arranged so that an output shaft 56 thereof is directed toward the injection port 43. The fan 46 and the rotary substrate 70 are arranged in this order toward the injection port 43 on the output shaft 56.
