PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide resin particles for fluorescent dye labeling, which prevent elution of a fluorescent dye when clearing with xylene is performed for producing a permanent preparation of a tissue section.SOLUTION: In resin particles for fluorescent dye labeling, a fluorescent dye is bound to resin particles made of a resin through a bond other than the covalent bond. The resin particles for fluorescent dye labeling are characterized in that (1) the resin comprises a constitutional unit made of at least one monofunctional monomer selected from the group consisting of styrene, alkyl methacrylate and acrylonitrile, and at least some hydrogen atoms included in the constitutional unit are substituted with substituents having electric charge, or, the resin comprises a constitutional unit made of a methacrylic acid as a monofunctional monomer, (2) the degree of crosslinking of the resin is 50% or more, and (3) the fluorescent dye has substituents which have electric charge opposite to the electric cha
