A device for reducing interference in applications for radiofrequency (RF) ablation using ultrasound monitoring, said device comprising: an ablation device (20) configured to generate radio frequency ablation signals (S (a)) supplied to the ablation electrode (22 ), - an ultrasonic device (30); - an ultrasonic transducer (32) connected to said ultrasonic device (30); while the said device is configured to generate at least two pulses (S (c); S (c1), S (c2), S (c3)) of ultrasonic excitation for exciting said ultrasonic transducer (32), said ultrasonic transducer (32) being configured to perform ultrasonic scanning for each ultrasonic excitation pulse, wherein each ultrasonic scan contains ultrasonic signals (S2), and receiving ultrasonic reflected signals (S (d)) in response to said ultrasonic excitation pulses; wherein said ultrasonic transducer (32) is additionally intended is designed to detect an interference signal (S (b)) between said radiofrequency ablation signals (S (a)) and said ultrasonic reflected signals (S (d)) to process said interference signal (S (b)) and said ultrasonic reflected signals (S (d)) and in order to reduce the negative effect on ultrasonic monitoring that may be caused by the aforementioned signal (S (b)) interference. 2.
