A process for the preparation of solid amine salts of aromatic substituted carboxylic acid herbicides by reaction of the aromatic substituted carboxylic acid herbicide with an amine comprising reacting the aromatic substituted carboxylic acid herbicide in an ether solvent with an amine to form the amine salt and collecting the amine salt of the aromatic substituted carboxylic acid herbicide as a precipitate from the ether solvent reaction mixture wherein the ether is a dialiphatic ether comprising at least one primary aliphatic group.Un proceso para la preparación de sales de amina sólidas de herbicidas de ácidos carboxílicos aromáticos sustituidos por reacción del herbicida de ácido carboxílico aromático sustituido con una amina que comprende hacer reaccionar el herbicida de ácido carboxílico aromático sustituido en un solvente de éter con una amina para formar la sal de amina y recolectar la sal de amina del herbicida de ácido carboxílico aromático sustituido como un precipitado de la mezcla de reacción con el solvente de éter, en donde dicho éter es un éter dialifático que comprende al menos un grupo alifático primario.
