PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-saccharification agent which has an inhibitory action of the saccharification reaction (it is also called a glycation reaction, Maillard reaction) of a protein or a lipid associated with decreased skin elasticity and the like which is found with aging.SOLUTION: An anti-saccharification agent contains one or more kinds of essential oils selected from essential oils obtained from Lavandula plants and essential oils obtained from Citrus plants. The Lavandula plants are preferred to be one or more kinds selected from Lavandula officinalis and Lavandula burnatii. The Citrus plants are preferred to be one or more kinds selected from Citrus bergamia and Citrus aurantium.【課題】加齢に伴って認められる皮膚の弾力低下等に関連する蛋白質や脂質の糖化反応（グリケーション反応、メイラード反応ともいう）の阻害作用を有する抗糖化剤の提供。【解決手段】ラベンダー属植物から得られる精油、ミカン属植物から得られる精油から選ばれる１種又は２種以上の精油を含有する抗糖化剤。該ラベンダー属植物が、コモン・ラベンダー、ラバンジンから選ばれる１種又は２種であることが好ましい。該ミカン属植物が、ベルガモット、ビターオレンジから選ばれる１種又は２種以上であることが好ましい。【選択図】なし
