PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air sterilizing apparatus capable of raising contact efficiency between air and an electrolyte in a gas-liquid contact member, while suppressing the depth of the gas-liquid contact member.
SOLUTION: The apparatus includes: the gas-liquid contact member where vent holes composed of hole parts 63, 73 are horizontally formed and an air sterilizing mechanism 12 for supplying the electrolyte, which is obtained by electrolyzing water and includes reactive oxygen species, to the gas-liquid contact member 5, allowing the air of a room to vent through the vent holes of the gas-liquid contact member 5, and blowing the air to the room. The vent holes have a hole shape which is significantly changed from the upstream side hole parts 63 to the downstream side hole parts 73 step by step.
