Provided is an orally administered agent that is for ruminants and that is not broken down in the rumen by avoiding breakdown resulting from the rumination of ruminants, passes into the lower alimentary tract, and is there broken down and dissolved. The present invention provides an orally administered agent that is for ruminants and of which the specific gravity is 1.17-2.00, the largest particle size and smallest particles size are both in the range of 4-10 mm, and the breaking strength of the smallest particle size portion in the body-temperature environment of ruminants is 0.5-5.0 N. The present invention further provides a method for orally administering a medicine to ruminants and a ruminant feed containing the orally administered agent.La présente invention porte sur un agent administré oralement qui est destiné à des ruminants et qui ne se décompose pas dans la panse en évitant la désintégration résultant de la rumination des ruminants, passe dans le tractus digestif inférieur et est alors désintégré et dissous. La présente invention concerne un agent administré oralement qui est destiné à des ruminants et dont le poids spécifique est compris entre 1,17 et 2,00, la taille des plus petites particules et la taille des plus grosses particules sont toutes deux comprises dans la plage comprise entre 4 et 10 mm, et la force de désintégration de la portion des plus petites particules dans l'environnement à température corporelle des ruminants est comprise entre 0,5 et 5,0 N.
