The invention relates to an apparatus including a wheeled furniture item (1), such as a bedside table, in particular for hospital use, including: a body (2) provided with casters (3) on the base thereof and a rear portion (4) attached to the body (2) of the wheeled furniture item (1). According to the invention, the apparatus includes wall mountings (5) and said rear portion (4) is removable and capable of being separated from the body (2) of the wheeled furniture item (1), using a securing/separating means including a first mechanism for securing/ separating (40, 40) the rear portion (4) to/from the wall mountings (5), and a second mechanism for securing/separating (41) the rear portion (4) to/from the body (2) of the wheeled furniture item (1), such as to be capable of consecutively securing said rear portion (4) to said wall mountings (5) and then of separating the rear portion (4) of the body (2) from the wheeled furniture item (1), and vice-versa.Equipement comprenant un mobilier roulant (1), de type chevet, notamment à usage hospitalier, comprenant : un corps (2) équipé de roulettes (3) à sa base une partie arrière (4) fixée au corps (2) du mobilier roulant (1).
