PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stent configured to easily remove a string-like member from a stent end portion after expanding a diameter thereof in the stent including a diameter-expansion mechanism that expands the stent diameter by pulling the string-like member attached to the stent end portion and retains it in the diameter-expanded state.SOLUTION: The stent includes: a stent body part 2 and a diameter-expansion mechanism 3A that deforms the stent body part 2 from a diameter-reduced state to a diameter-expanded state and retains it in the diameter-expanded state.
