A protective crop cover system to protect crops against undesired weather conditions is provided. The protective crop cover system has at least three or more vertical bars where in each vertical bar comprises of lower peg, upper peg and middle joints. Vertical bars are installed partially below the ground level and partially above the ground level. Lower peg having tensile resisting rod is installed below the ground level, middle joints provides connection between the lower peg and upper peg. A cover sheet is spread across top portion of the vertical bars for shielding the crop. The system is easy to assemble/disassemble, cost effective, provides proper utilization of rain water and contains improved elements.
