This invention is directed to the use of an effective amount of acompound selected from:(see formula I) or (formula II)or pharmaceutically acceptable forms thereof, wherein phenyl is substituted atX with one to five halogen atoms selected from the group consisting offluorine, chlorine, bromine and iodine； and, R1, R2, R3, R4, R5 and R6 areindependently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and C1-C4alkyl； wherein C1-C4 alkyl is optionally substituted with phenyl (and, whereinphenyl is optionally substituted with substituents independently selected fromthe group consisting of halogen, C1-C4 alkyl, C1-C4 alkoxy, amino, nitro andcyano) for preventing, treating or ameliorating substance-related disorders,ina subject in need thereof. In addition, uses are included involving co-administrationof compounds of the invention with one or more compoundsknown to treat substance-induced disorders.
