Disclosed is an image processing method for generating a post-processed white matter susceptibility map by using the best-fit estimation equation for a data set including susceptibility values of white matters also known as property values of white matters. The estimation equation includes a correction term determined in accordance with the property values of the while matters. The post-processing operation used by the method includes the steps of: (1) using the property values of the white matters corresponding to a voxel present in a measurement space to determine the value of the correction term； and (2) calculating values of the post-processed white matters by subtracting the value of the determined correction term from the white matter susceptibility values corresponding to the voxel.[백질의 susceptibility에 관한 값, 백질의 속성값]들로 이루어지는 데이터 세트에 가장 잘 피트되는 추정식을 이용하여 후처리된 백질의 susceptibility 맵을 생성하는 영상처리방법을 공개한다. 상기 추정식은 상기 백질의 속성값에 따라 결정되는 보정항(term)을 포함한다. 상기 방법은, (1) 상기 보정항의 값을, 측정공간에 존재하는 복셀(a voxel)에 대응하는 백질의 속성값을 이용하여 결정하는 단계, 및 (2) 상기 복셀(the voxel)에 대응하는 백질의 susceptibility에 관한 값으로부터 상기 결정된 보정항의 값을 차감함으로써 후처리된 백질의 susceptibility에 관한 값을 산출하는 단계를 포함하는 포스트 프로세싱을 이용한다.
