PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walk-behind tiller capable of easily switching between a role of preventing the scattering of mud or stones in the rear direction and a role as a ridger on ridge forming work.SOLUTION: In the walk-behind tiller transmitting a power from an engine to a rotary member under the engine and including the fender under the engine and also above the rotary member, a rear fender vertically turnable with the upper end side as a fulcrum is arranged at the rear end of the fender in a manner to be divided to the rifht and left sides of a machine body, and is constituted to be switched between a turning-allowed state in which the rear fender is freely turned, and a lower limit-fixed state in which the rear fender is fixedso as not to be turned at a lower turning position while approaching both of the right and left fenders to each other by moving any one or both of the right and left fenders to the central side in a right and left width direction of the machine body.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】後方フェンダで後方への泥土もしくは石の飛散を防止としての役割と畝立て作業時の培土器としての役割を持てるように容易に切り換えることが可能な歩行型管理機を提供する。【解決手段】エンジンからの動力を該エンジンの下方にロータリ部材に伝達し、該エンジンの下方でかつ、前記ロータリ部材の上方にフェンダを備えた歩行型管理機において、該フェンダの後端に、上端側を支点として上下回動する後方フェンダを機体の左右に分割して配置し、該後方フェンダを回動自在な回動許容状態と、機体の左右幅方向で中央側に向けて左右いずれかのフェンダ若しくは左右両方のフェンダを移動させることで左右両方のフェンダを互いに近接させた状態で、下方回動位置で回動不能に固定した下限固定状態とに切換え可能に構成したものである。【選択図】 図4
