A mist-generating device that can be connected to a vehicle's Low DirectCurrent Voltage (LDCV) power supply isdisclosed. The device can be used to treat mold, bacteria and clean or removeodors on exposed and hard-to-reach surfaces of theinterior of a car. The device can include a unique filling system that can beused to prevent foreign materials from entering into theunit, including fluids or substances that would deteriorate the performance ofthe unit or the components of the device itself. Theinside of the device can include an internal anti-foam and anti-splashstructure designed to keep electronic components dry andre-duce the foaming and turbulence of the fluid being misted. Further, theinside of the device in one embodiment is split into threeadjacent areas, which govern efficient flow of air and atomized chemicalsthrough the device.
