PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical device for implantation of the hip joint of a human patient, in the natural human body, the hip joint has a ball shaped caput femur as the proximal part of the femoral bone with a convex hip joint surface toward the center of the hip joint and a bowl shaped acetabulum as part of the pelvic bone with a concave hip joint surface toward the center of the hip joint, and the caput femur has an elongated expanded part arranged in the center, the expanded part extending in the center of the caput femur and the collum femur along the collum femur and is defined as the center axis of the caput femur and the collum femur.SOLUTION: The medical device comprises an artificial coxal bone with a convex surface toward the center of the hip joint.
