PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability in removal work so as to implement the removal work in a hot-line state within a short time or the like even in the case where a long-trunk support insulator is present at a lower side of nest building materials piled up on a structure for power transmission.SOLUTION: An insulation tool 10 for nest building removal is configured to remove, under a hot-line state, nest building materials piled up at an upper side of a long-trunk support insulator vertically installed on a crossarm of a steel-tower. Between two insulation rods 11 which are disposed separately, an insulation sheet 13 is spread on which scraped nest building materials are placed. In a front end portion of the insulation sheet 13, a notched recess 15 is formed into which the top of the long-trunk support insulator is inserted.
