PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable fine adjustment of position of an inserted stem before insertion.SOLUTION: A trial reposition member (21) includes a body (22) having a smaller external form than that of a rasp (36) forming a recessed part (11) which inserts the stem (7) into the medullary cavity division (6c) of the thighbone (6), a wing part (25) arranged in the outer side surface of the body (22), and a bone head supporting part (28) arranged in the body (22) in which bone head part (31) is rotatably supported by an acetabular (3) of the pelvis (2), and a recessed part (11) smaller than the recessed part (11) formed by the rasp (36) is formed, before a recessed part (11) is formed with the rasp (36).
