PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set an optimal rotating position of a biplane in accordance with a moving direction of a tissue.SOLUTION: A set of scan surfaces being the biplane comprises a first scan surface and a second scan surface. The set of scan surfaces (or one of the scan surfaces) is rotatively scanned as a trial. A target tissue is measured at respective rotational angles, and an appropriate rotational angle of the set of scan surfaces is determined on the basis of the measurement result.
