Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von individuell angepassten Maulkörben (1) für Tiere, insbesondere für Hunde. Um vorteilhafte Fertigungsverhältnisse zu schaffen, wird vorgeschlagen, dass zunächst die Schnauze (3) des Tieres vermessen wird, für welches der Maulkorb (1) zu fertigen ist wobei zur Vermessung der Schnauze (3) des Tieres die Länge zwischen Stop (6) und Nasenspitze (7) gemessen wird und wobei auf Höhe des Stops (6) wenigstens zwei der folgenden drei Werte gemessen werden, nämlich der Umfang (U), die Breite (b) und die Höhe (h) der Schnauze (3), dass aus diesen Messwerten die Hüllkurve einer passenden Maulkorbgröße berechnet wird und auf der Basis dieser passenden Maulkorbgröße ein Maulkorbmodell aus um die generierte Hüllkurve verlaufenden und gegebenenfalls einander kreuzenden Bändern errechnet wird, wonach der Maulkorb (1) entsprechend dem Maulkorbmodell hergestellt, insbesondere mit einem Drucker gedruckt, wird.The invention relates to a method for producing customised muzzles (1) for animals, in particular for dogs.
