Disclosed is a polypeptide that comprises a portion of a deimmunised serum-binding protein capable of binding to the serum protein； wherein the deimmunised serum-binding protein portion is a variant of a wild-type albumin-binding domain (ABO) of a Streptococcal Protein G, the wild-type ABO having the amino acid sequence as defined in the specification； wherein the variant ABO has an amino acid sequence that differs from the wild type at the amino acid positions as disclosed in the specification.
