PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly perform ridging and form a favorable ridge slope with strong fixing force by preventing sticking of soil right after driving of a tilling rotary.SOLUTION: The ridger 1 includes: the tilling rotary 31 for excavating a ground surface 5a of a cultivated field 5 and forming a mound A on a lateral outside B a front plate 33 for restraining backward movement of the tilling soil G a swing plate 35 for pressing the surface of the mound A to form a ridge slope 7a a flexurally deformable beating plate 37 for beating and compacting the surface of the formed ridge slope 7a a power transmission mechanism 39 for driving the tilling rotary 31, the swing plate 35 and the beating plate 37 and a beating plate flexure restraining mechanism 141 with a stopper 143 to abut to the back surface of the distal end of the beating plate 37.
