PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balloon catheter capable of sufficiently securing a blood flow to the periphery when a balloon is inflated in the aneurysm, having a cross section with high roundness, and uniformly developing a high dilating pressure in the circumferential direction.SOLUTION: An occlusion balloon catheter includes a catheter shaft 10, a hub, and a tubular balloon 30, where the outer periphery of the balloon 30 is formed of a smooth surface, and an inner periphery of the baloon 30 includes projecting portions 331-338 formed to extend in a tube axis direction and capable of storing fluid in the inside, disposed along the circumferential direction at intervals of 45°. When the fluid supplied from a lumen of the catheter shaft 10 is flown inside thereof, each of the projecting portions 331-338 is expanded, and adjacent projecting portions come into contact with each other and press to each other, so that the balloon 30 is inflated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3【課題】動脈瘤内でバルーンを拡張させたときに、末梢への血流を十分に確保することができ、横断面の真円度が高く、高い拡張圧を円周方向に均一に発現させるバルーンカテーテルを提供する。【解決手段】カテーテルシャフト10と、ハブと、管状のバルーン30とを備え、バルーン30の外周は円滑面で形成され、バルーン30の内周には、管軸方向に延びるように形成され、内部に流体を収容可能な凸部331~338が円周方向に沿って45°間隔に配置され、カテーテルシャフト10のルーメンから供給される流体が内部に流入されることで、凸部331~338の各々が拡張し、隣り合う凸部どうしが接触して相互に押圧し合うことにより、バルーン30が拡張する。【選択図】図3
