This invention provides the use of one or more peptides derived from the C-terminal endof a Chemerin protein, or analogs or derivatives thereof for treatment of inflammationand/or endotoxic shock and/or treatment of wounds and/or reduction of levelsof inflammatory chemokines in a subject, and one or more peptides derived fromthe C-terminal end of a Chemerin protein, or analogs or derivatives thereof foruse in the treatment of inflammation and/or endotoxic shock, and/or wounds, orfor the reduction of levels of inflammatory mediators.
