PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical imaging system for imaging mammary gland-breast in conjunction with radiation and ultrasound and displaying an ultrasonic image having tissue specificity which is easily and visually recognized.SOLUTION: This medical imaging system comprises a radiation generating part for generating radiation ray, an imaging table arranged with a radiation detector for detecting radiation ray which is generated by the radiation generating part and passes through a subject, a pressing plate for pressing the subject against the imaging table, a mechanism for moving the pressing plate, an ultrasonic probe for transmitting ultrasonic beams to the subject according to a drive signal, receiving ultrasonic echo reflected by the subject, and outputting the detection signal, and an image forming part which supplies the drive signal to the ultrasonic probe and receives the detection signal outputted from the ultrasonic probe while the subject is under some pressed conditions and then the ultrasonic image of the subject under some pressed conditions is displayed on a display part in time series.COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT【課題】放射線及び超音波を併用して乳腺・乳房の撮像を行う医用撮像システムにおいて、組織の特異性を視覚的に認識し易い超音波画像を表示する。【解決手段】この医用撮像システムは、放射線を発生する放射線発生部と、放射線発生部によって発生され被検体を通過した放射線を検出する放射線検出部が配置された撮影台と、撮影台との間で被検体を圧迫する圧迫板と、圧迫板を移動させる圧迫板移動機構と、駆動信号に従って被検体に向けて超音波ビームを送信し、被検体によって反射される超音波エコーを受信して検出信号を出力する超音波探触子と、被検体が複数の圧迫状態にあるときに、超音波探触子に駆動信号を供給して、超音波探触子から出力される検出信号を受信することにより、複数の圧迫状態における被検体の超音波画像を表示部に時系列で表示させる画像生成部とを具備する。【選択図】図1
