PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand rim for a wheelchair which has an interposing member for preventing deflection caused in turning operation of a hand rim body member.SOLUTION: In a hand rim 1 for a wheelchair, an interposing member 7 for preventing deflection is interposed between a hand rim body member 4 and a driving wheel 2. In the hand rim body member 4, a plate part 12 is installed for the interposing member 7 for preventing deflection, and the plate part 12 is provided with an engaging groove 13 which has a groove width direction in the circumferential direction of the driving wheel 2.
