To further improve the quality of tomographic images while performing shooting at a high speed when a shooting method by which helical scan and stationary scan at the ends of its linear movement range is performed and tomographic images of positions in a range wider than the linear movement range are reconstituted is used.
SOLUTION: The opening of a collimator is controlled so that it may be narrower during stationary scan in parts in the anterior half or the posterior half in the traveling direction of helical scan and corresponding to the outside of the linear movement range during stationary scan than that during the stationary scan.
