PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide immunoconjugates having specificity for CD138 that diminish adhesion of CD138 expressing tumor cells to stroma cells and methods using the same.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a method for diminishing adhesion of stroma cells to CD138 expressing tumor cells in tumor cells of a subject in need thereof comprising the steps of: administering, to the tumor cells, an immunoconjugate targeting the CD138 expressing tumor cells in an amount effective to diminish adhesion of stroma cells to the CD138 expressing tumor cells； and optionally administering, to the tumor cells, a further cytotoxic agent, in an amount to perform any of inhibition, delay and prevention of growth of the tumor cells. By the adhesion diminishment, the tumor cells become sensitive not only to the immunoconjugates, but also to other agents, especially, the cytotoxic agent.【課題】ＣＤ１３８発現腫瘍細胞の間質細胞への接着を減少させる、ＣＤ１３８に対して特異性を有する免疫複合体、及びそれを用いる方法を開示する。【解決手段】ＣＤ１３８発現腫瘍細胞への間質細胞の接着を、それを必要としている被験体の腫瘍細胞において減少させる方法であって、前記腫瘍細胞に、前記ＣＤ１３８発現腫瘍細胞を標的とする免疫複合体を、ＣＤ１３８発現腫瘍細胞への間質細胞の接着を減少させるのに有効な量接種する工程と、任意的に、前記腫瘍細胞に、更なる細胞傷害性剤を、腫瘍細胞の増殖の阻害、遅延、及び防止の少なくともいずれかを行う量接種する工程と、を含む方法である。この接着減少により、腫瘍細胞は、免疫複合体だけでなく、他の剤、特に細胞傷害性剤に対する感受性も強くなる。【選択図】なし
