Anterior listhesis requires performing oscillating motions followed by pressing on the zygapophysial joint with leading the spine into an anatomically correct position. Retrolisthesis involves performing distraction and oscillating motions of the zygapophysial joint followed by pressing on the zygapophysial joint of the involved spine and maximum delivery of the involved vertebral body into an anatomically correct position.
