The invention relates to a transportation device having a structure (1) with wheels, joined via a shaft (3) to a platform (2) or chassis supporting a basket, mat, seat or tray, wherein the transportation device comprises a means for automatically stabilizing the inclination of the platform (2) or chassis, wherein the stabiliser comprises a means for detecting (7) the inclination of the platform (2) or chassis, and a motor (9) activated by a microcontroller, and wherein the microcontroller is configured to act on the motor (9) in order to correct the inclination of the platform (2) or chassis, so that said platform (2) or chassis returns to a predefined inclination.
