PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an antifungal medical instrument in which the safety is excellent at the use and the manufacturing of the antifungal medical instrument, and the cost of the manufacturing and the equipment is reduced.SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the antifungal medical instrument, a rifampin aqueous solution that dissolves rifampin that is an antibacterial agent in water is used. A base material of the medical instrument consisting of polyurethane is soaked in the rifampin aqueous solution, then the base material is boiled by a pressure condition that exceeds the atmospheric pressure, and the rifampin aqueous solution is included to the base material. In addition, water is removed from the base material that has included the rifampin aqueous solution by that the base material is dried, and the antifungal medical instrument that includes rifampin is obtained.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】 抗菌性医療用具の使用時および製造時における安全性に優れ、かつ、製造や設備のコストが削減される抗菌性医療用具の製造方法を提供すること。【解決手段】 抗菌性医療用具の製造方法では、抗菌剤であるリファンピンを水に溶解したリファンピン水溶液を用いた。ポリウレタンからなる医療用具の基材をリファンピン水溶液に浸漬した後、大気圧を超える圧力条件で基材を煮沸し、基材にリファンピン水溶液を包含させた。そして、基材を乾燥してリファンピン水溶液を包含した基材から水を除去して、リファンピンを包含する抗菌性医療用具を得た。【選択図】 なし
