PURPOSE: A robot for measuring a vital signal and a construction method thereof are provided to efficiently measure a vital signal by automatically moving electrodes formed on hands to a target person to be measured.CONSTITUTION: A robot for measuring a vital signal comprises an input unit, an image recognition unit, a control unit, and a vital signal measurement unit. A vital signal measurement order is inputted to the input unit. The image recognition unit confirms a distance to a target person and the measured part of the target person. The control unit moves electrodes(150) formed on hands(131) to the measured part of the target person.
