PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antiinflammation, antioxidation or melanin pigment formation suppressing cosmetic product or whitening cosmetic product exhibiting sufficient antiinflammation action, antioxidation action and melanin pigment formation suppressing action even by the application of a relatively small amount of the cosmetic, and usable even by a person of weak skin or person affected by a skin disease.
SOLUTION: The antiinflammation, antioxidation or melanin pigment formation suppressing cosmetic product contains an aqueous solvent extract or an organic solvent extract of one or more parts of Citrus jabara Hort. ex Tanaka belonging to the genus Citrus, subfamily Aurantioideae, family Rutaceae, selected from fruit, leaf, flower, seed, bark, trunk and branch as an antioxidation active component in an amount of 0.001-20 wt.%.
