The present invention provides an insecticide-fungicide composition, including an insecticide ingredient (A) selected from cartap hydrochloride and thiocyclam oxalate, and hexaconazole (B) serving as a fungicide ingredient and a method of controlling a pest for a plant, including the step of treating a plant or a region around the plant with an effectve amount of the insecticide-fungicide composition. A ratio between the insecticide ingredient (A) and the hexaconazole (B) is preferably from 20:1 to 7zL in terms of a mass ratio (A:B) . According to the present invention, a plant can be protected from a harmful insect and a harmful pathogenic fungus for a plant.
