PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical prosthesis having biodegradation absorptivity, which has excellent functions of reinforcement, air leakage prevention, hemostasis, etc. and is so excellent in such surgery operability that the medical prosthesis folded or compressed upon insertion can be easily expanded to be an original shape at a surgery site.SOLUTION: The medical prosthesis includes a nonwoven fabric laminated body formed of a biodegradable-absorptive material and a reinforcing material. The reinforcing materials are arranged in a symmetrical shape in the periphery edge part of the nonwoven fabric laminated body and/or in the plane direction of the nonwoven fabric laminated body.
