<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a heart beat/breathing for a diagnosis by measuring it in a noncontact manner. <；P>；SOLUTION: A noncontact diagnostic system is equipped with a transmitting and receiving means (1) for measuring breathing for emitting microwaves for measuring breathing to a prescribed site of a subject and receiving reflected waves from the subject, a transmitting and receiving means (2) for measuring a heartbeat for emitting microwaves for measuring a heartbeat of a frequency higher than the microwaves for measuring breathing to a site different from the site irradiated by the microwaves for measuring breathing and receiving the reflected waves from the subject, a detecting means (3) for detecting the phase of each received reflected wave, and a bandpass filter (5) for filtering the breathing signal components and the heartbeat signal components obtained by detecting phase in different frequency bands, and measures a breathing rate and a heart rate by obtaining the frequency in which the power is maximum from the output of the bandpass filter. <；P>；COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
