The hyaluronic acid production promoter of the present invention contains an unsaponified vegetable oil as an active ingredient. The present invention also provides a beauty composition containing the hyaluronic acid production promoter. The hyaluronic acid production promoter of the present invention and a beauty composition containing the same are expected to be used for, for example, skin moisturization, improvement of tension, improvement of skin wrinkles, etc. by transdermal administration.
