PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surgical gauze capable of handling it by a wireless ID tag being hardly disconnected and in the same way as an ordinary gauze, and to provide a management system for the surgical gauze capable of individually managing the condition of use of the surgical gauze.SOLUTION: In a storing part 1, surgical gauze is taken out one by one, and a discrimination information of a wireless ID tag built in a filament body woven in the surgical gauze is read out by a first reading part R1, and taken-out information is stored. The surgical gauze used in a surgery is supplied into a rotating tank of a recovery part 2 and dehydrated, and the discrimination information of the wireless ID tag of the surgical gauze used is read out one by one by a second reading part R2 and the recovery information is stored.
