Patent of Invention: "MEDICINAL PRODUCT AND THERAPY USING INTEGRINE LINKS FOR CANCER TREATMENT". The present invention relates to a combination therapy for the treatment of tumors and tumor metastasis comprising the administration of integrin ligands, preferably integrin antagonists, together with co-therapeutic agents or forms of therapy that have synergistic efficacy when administered consecutively with said binders such as chemotherapeutic agents and or radiation therapy. Therapy results in a potentially synergistic increase in the inhibitory effect of each individual therapeutic on tumor proliferation, providing more effective treatment than found by administration of a single individual component, currently or not in the dosage regimen of the present invention.Patente de Invenção:"MEDICAMENTO E TERAPIA ESPECÍFICA USANDO-SE LIGANTES DE INTEGRINA PARA O TRATAMENTO DE CÂNCER". A presente invenção refere-se a uma terapia de combinação para o tratamento de tumores e metástase de tumor compreendendo a administração de ligantes de integrina, de preferência antagonistas de integrina, juntamente com agentes coterapêuticos ou formas de terapia que têm eficácia sinérgica quando administrados consecutivamente com os ditos ligantes, tais como agentes quimoterapêuticos e ou terapia de radiação. A terapia resulta em um aumento potencial sinérgico do efeito de inibição de cada terapêutico individual na proliferação de tumor, fornecendo mais tratamento eficaz do que encontrado por administração de um único componente individual, correntemente ou não no regime de dosagem da presente invenção.
