PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the sense of discomfort to be imparted to an operator by a great resistance when a male connector of a drip infusion circuit, etc., is inserted into a hemostatic valve as the hemostatic valve is arranged in the inlet of a housing.SOLUTION: This catheter has a catheter tube 2 which is connected to the distal end side of a catheter base 1, the hemostatic valve 3 which is disposed in the medium region of the catheter base 1 and a pusher 4 which is freely slidably disposed within the catheter base in order to operate opening and closing of the hemostatic valve 3. The hemostatic valve 3 is constituted by forming a valve hole slit 3a at the center of its front end face and forming a pusher socket 3b on the opening side of the rear end. The pusher socket 3b slidably and unremovably holds the outer periphery of the pusher 4. Air vent grooves 3c are formed on the outer periphery of the hemostatic valve 3. The air vent grooves 3c vent air in such a manner that the hemostatic valve 3 has no air resistance and can be smoothly slid in the catheter base 1.COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO【課題】ハウジングの入口に止血弁を配置しているため、点滴回路等のオスコネクターを止血弁に挿入する際に、抵抗が大きく術者に違和感を与えてしまう。【解決手段】カテーテル基1の先端側に連結されたカテーテルチューブ2と、前記カテーテル基1内の中腹部に配設された止血弁3と、該止血弁3の開閉操作をすべく前記カテーテル基内に摺動自在に配設されたプッシャー4とを備える。止血弁3は、前端面中央に弁孔スリット3aを形成し、後端開口側にプッシャー受部3bを形成せしめる。プッシャー受部3bは、プッシャー4の外周を摺動可能かつ抜け止め状態に保持する。また、止血弁3の外周には、エア抜溝3c、3cを形成する。このエア抜溝3c、3cは、止血弁3が空気抵抗が無くカテーテル基1内を円滑に摺動できるように空気抜きする。
