PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel substance enhancing expression of filaggrin gene, involved in improving the moisture retention function of skin.SOLUTION: It was discovered that expression of filaggrin gene increases or decreases in a rhythm of about 24-hour period. Candidate substances were screened at the time when the expression reaches its maximum after addition of candidate substances, and Zanthoxylum extract, 3-(1'-piperidine)-propionic acid, geranium oil, cypress oil, rose oil, galbanum oil, pepper oil, basil oil, o-methyl toluate, methyl anthranilate, and dimethyl anthranilate were identified as filaggrin gene expression enhancers.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】皮膚の保湿機能の向上に関与する新規のフィラグリン遺伝子の発現を促進する物質の提供。【解決手段】フィラグリン遺伝子が約２４時間周期のリズム性を持って発現が増減していることを見出し、候補物質を添加後、発現が最大となる時間において候補物質をスクリーニングし、サンショウエキス、３-(１'-ピペリジン)-プロピオン酸、ゼラニウムオイル、サイプレスオイル、ローズオイル、ガルバナムオイル、ペッパーオイル、バジルオイル、o-トルイル酸メチル、メチルアンスラニレート、ジメチルアンスラニレートをフィラグリン遺伝子発現促進剤として同定した。【選択図】図１
